If you follow me on Instagram, you know my local beauty store is Super Cosmetics Nyali. I love that place, always taking sweet time in it.

This is how I know they have a tonne of Neutrogena.  As do many other Kenyan stores, pharmacies and large supermarkets.

I can put my economist hat on and say there is a demand for Neutrogena. This also means there is a demand for an effective Neutrogena routine for normal to oily skin.

So...

A Neutrogena normal to oily skin routine

Step 1 (PM only)

Available in Good Life Pharmacy

First cleanse with Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil to remove makeup and/or sunscreen.

Step 2 (AM and PM)

Available in Nakumatt

Next up, second cleanse with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Cleansing Gel to remove residue of the first cleanse, sweat and dirt. Double cleanse for the day, done!

Step 3 (PM)

Available in Super Cosmetics

Grab a cotton round and the Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner. Gently exfoliate to improve skin texture, remove excess oil and unclog pores.

Step 4 (AM or PM)

Available in Nakumatt

Next up, hydration! Apply the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Serum. It's like a glass of water for the skin.

Step 5 (PM)

Available in Nakumatt and Super Cosmetics

In case of the occasional pimple, use a cotton bud to apply a bit of the Neutrogena Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Spot Gel on it.

Step 6 (AM and PM)

Available in Nakumatt

Apply the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel to moisturize.

Lastly, step 7 (AM)

Available in Super Cosmetics

At least 1/4 teaspoon of sunscreen on the face, and another on the chest and neck to protect from sun damage.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen leaves no white cast on the skin. Dark skin will not look blue, silver or ashy when this SPF is applied. Hallelu!

In Conclusion

Take advantage of Neutrogena being everywhere in Kenya, but don't be blindly loyal. Just like every skin care brand, Neutrogena has winners, losers and "mehs". Find products that work for your skin.
