My current moisturizers while on Retin-A
Moisturizing is an important step for any skin type. Double that if you are using retinoids. Moisturizing helps to heal and protect by keeping the water + oil content in the skin balanced.
My current moisturizers are:
This fragrance free cream has so much skin repairing goodness. Glycerin, squalane, borage seed oil, bisabolol, urea...all in a light gel cream texture that glides on the skin. It's perfect for those nights I just want to cleanse, moisturize and sleep.
I have found nothing else that heals and soothes irritated skin like this. Yesu! The moisturizing panthenol and soothing madecassoside in this really do the damn thing.
The only facial oil in my current routine. I love how soft my skin feels in the morning after using this the night before. It’s perfect for normal to dry skin. Give it a try and support a great Kenyan brand!
This is the perfect light AM moisturizer after a night of Retin-A. It has 74% snail filtrate. Snail is anti inflammatory and helps to heal wounds and light acne. It also absorbs really fast so I can slather sunscreen on top and not feel greasy. #Winning
On the nights I’m not using Retin-A, I still keep my brightening game on with this moisturizer that has niacinamide.
I like to use a Vitamin C product every morning. Because: brightening. If I’m staying indoors all day, this moisturizer is perfect. It can leave me shiny if I use too much, but I don’t care, coz I’m indoors.
It also makes a great PM moisturizer when I'm not in the mood for the Mizon mask.
